I didn't read about how to build a brand. I did it.

My name is Muhammed. I was a dentist in Bochum — a city where nobody searches for Germany's most expensive aesthetic dentist. And yet: patients from Berlin. From Switzerland. Over 1,000 kilometres of travel. For an appointment with me. That taught me everything I do for you today.

The paradox

Bochum. Ruhr Area. €1,500 per tooth.

Bochum is not Munich. Not Düsseldorf. Not Frankfurt. Bochum is the Ruhr area — coal, steel, hard work. A city where people are frugal and expect low prices. My competitors in the city charged €200–400 for a crown.

I charged €1,500 per tooth. For veneers. In Bochum. And people paid it — not because I was the only option, but because they trusted me. Because my brand radiated trust before the patient even entered the practice. That is the power of a brand.

The insight

It doesn't matter where you are. What matters is who you are — on the outside. Your brand is your price tag.

Muhammed Kiziler — Innodentum reception
„Sie hatte die Wahl. Zürich, München, Berlin — überall gibt es exzellente Zahnärzte. Sie kam nach Bochum. 1.000 Kilometer. Sie sagte: Ich habe deine Videos gesehen. Ich wollte nur bei dir machen lassen. Das war der Moment, in dem ich verstanden habe: Brand schlägt Location."
— Muhammed Kiziler, über seinen Patienten aus der Schweiz
The story behind it

From a practice in Bochum to a DACH-wide brand.

01
The start

Practice takeover — a blank canvas

I took over an existing practice in Bochum. No branding. No website worthy of the name. No social media presence. Nothing at all. Most new practice owners would have been happy just to treat patients and keep the lights on. I saw something else: an opportunity to build from scratch — no old mistakes, no old image, no compromises.

02
The decision

innodentum — a brand, not just a practice name

I was one of the first in Germany not to call myself 'Dental Practice Kiziler' — but to build a real brand. innodentum. Own logo, colour system, CI, a consistent appearance across all channels. I wanted someone to Google 'innodentum' and immediately know: this is no ordinary dentist. This is an authority.

03
The vision

The goal: Germany's best-known aesthetic dentist

From the very beginning, the goal was not to become the best dentist in Bochum. That was too small for me. The vision was bigger: Germany's most well-known aesthetic dentist. Not the richest. Not the most expensive. The most recognised. Because recognition enables everything else. This vision shaped every decision — which videos I filmed, what I posted, how I positioned my brand.

04
The specialisation

Veneers in Germany — Ahead of the curve on veneers — before Germany was ready

Aesthetic dentistry — veneers, smile design — was a niche in Germany that few took seriously. Long established in Turkey, Switzerland, the USA. In Germany: viewed with scepticism, often ridiculed. That was exactly my advantage. I specialised early. While others waited, I built expertise, created content about dental aesthetics, and became Germany's first port of call for this niche.

The first breakthrough

Berlin, 500 km — after 6 months.

After six months of content, six months of brand building, and six months of consistent positioning, I received the first call from Berlin. A patient who could have been treated in Berlin. But who had watched my videos online — and said: 'I'm coming to Bochum.' 500 kilometres. For a dental appointment. That was the first proof the strategy was working.

The turning point

Switzerland. 1,000 km. Because of a brand.

Then came the call that changed everything. A patient from Switzerland. Not from Bochum, not from the Ruhr area, not even from Germany. Someone who could have chosen Zurich, Munich, and Berlin. He chose me. 1,000 kilometres to get there. At the time I stood in the practice 10 hours a day, filmed videos in the evening, and posted consistently. This patient was the confirmation: it wasn't luck. It was strategy.

The rise

Speaker, Invisalign trainer, over one million reach

The brand kept growing. I reached over one million people through my social media channels. I invested €150,000 in paid advertising — and in doing so learned everything about what works and what doesn't. I became a conference speaker. An Invisalign trainer who showed other dentists how to use aligners. Not because I was the only one who could do it. But because everyone knew who I was.

Today

Doc Mo Agency — this knowledge for your business

Today, with Doc Mo Agency, I do for other businesses what I did for innodentum. Whether service provider, tradesperson, restaurant, e-commerce, or law firm — the principle is the same. You have an invisible business. I make it visible. Not with tricks. But with real strategy — which I don't know from books, but from my own practice.

The difference

I was on both sides of the table.

🦷

Real entrepreneur background

7 years of owning a practice means: practice stress, staff, accounting, patients — and still flipping the marketing switch every day. I know your daily life better than any agency.

💸

Own money, real experience

€150,000 in ad spend from my own pocket. What I recommend to you, I've paid for myself, tested myself, lost myself — and won myself. No theory. Only practice.

🎯

Empathy for the target audience

As an entrepreneur, I always knew what my patients were looking for before they could put it into words. I transfer that to every website I build.

🚀

Pioneer mentality

I was early in Germany with veneer aesthetics and brand building — when others were still waiting. This mindset shapes every project at Doc Mo: early, bold, always aiming one level higher.

📹

Content from practice, not from the textbook

I reached over 1 million people organically. Not because I studied content marketing — but because I did it. Every day. After a 10-hour day in the practice.

🏢

For every industry — not just medicine

The principle that worked in Bochum works for every business: clear brand, trustworthy presence, consistent communication. Regardless of industry.

What this means for you

I do for your business what I did for my practice.

You don't have to be in Bochum. You don't have to have a practice. The principle is universal: a brand that builds trust before the customer buys — that works for every entrepreneur in every industry.

What I bring: not just creativity, but the experience of an entrepreneur who went through exactly what you're going through. Who knows what it feels like when marketing doesn't work. And who knows what it feels like when someone drives 1,000 kilometres — because of you.
