As a company based in the United Arab Emirates (IFZA Free Zone), we are primarily subject to UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL). For visitors from the EU, we additionally take the principles of the GDPR into account where applicable.

What Data We Collect

This website does not collect any data automatically, aside from the technical connection and measurement data described below. Personal data (name, email, phone) is collected when you actively fill out and submit our contact form, or when you enter your email address on one of our guide pages (see below).

Contact Form

When you use the form, your details (name, contact info, message) are sent to us by email. This is handled via Web3Forms (web3forms.com) — a GDPR-compliant service. The data is used solely to process your inquiry and is not shared with third parties.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries).

Free Guides & Marketing Emails

We offer free downloadable PDF guides across several websites (including *.vercel.app domains such as our guide catalog guides.docmo.agency and the individual project guide pages). If you enter your email address there, we use it to (a) deliver or unlock the guide you requested, and (b) occasionally send you further content, new guides, or offers from Doc Mo Agency by email.

Submissions are processed via Web3Forms and an internal Google Sheets endpoint used for list management. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email, or by messaging hello@docmo.agency.

Legal basis: your active submission of the form with a notice about occasional emails (consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), or legitimate interest in direct marketing under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — either way, with a right to object at any time.

Ad Targeting (Meta / TikTok / Google Ads)

We may upload email addresses from our guide and contact lists, in hashed (non-readable) form, to advertising platforms in order to (a) re-engage existing prospects (Custom Audience) or (b) find new, similar audiences (Lookalike Audience). The platforms we use for this are Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok Technology Ltd. (TikTok Ads, Custom Audiences and Lookalike Audiences) and Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Ads Customer Match). No plain-text data is shared with third parties in this process, only a technical hash of your email address, which only the platform itself can match against its own user accounts. Non-matching entries are discarded by the platform.

This may involve a transfer of data to servers outside the EU, including the USA. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in direct marketing (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), with a right to object at any time. Under UAE law, the corresponding basis under the PDPL applies.

If you'd rather we didn't do this, just let us know and we'll remove your address from any future ad upload.

Hosting

This website is hosted via Vercel Inc. (San Francisco, USA). When you visit the site, technically necessary connection data (IP address, timestamp) is briefly stored in server logs. Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Tracking & Conversion Measurement

This website (docmo.agency) includes Google Ads conversion tracking (gtag.js) to measure the effectiveness of our own ad campaigns. This may set cookies from Google. Our individual guide pages (e.g. *.vercel.app) currently do not use Google Analytics, a Meta Pixel or a TikTok Pixel, but we reserve the right to add these in the future to optimize our ad campaigns — in which case we will update this page accordingly. No cookies are set for purposes beyond ad measurement, and we do not sell your data to third parties.

WhatsApp

If you use the WhatsApp link, you leave this website and switch to the WhatsApp application operated by Meta Platforms. Their own privacy policy applies to data processing there.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to the processing of your data — including objecting to marketing emails and ad targeting. Just email us: hello@docmo.agency

Right to Complain

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. As a UAE-based company, we are primarily subject to the oversight of the relevant UAE authority (UAE Data Office). EU residents may alternatively contact their local data protection authority.
